Elise Brysgel owes me over $5200 in back rent. I chose to rent to Elise J Brysgel on April of 2024 when we signed a 1 year lease. She paid the Last months rent but bounced the very first check she gave me. She had 2 rental references, but both of them did not check out, one number did not work, the other the person never called me back. I wanted to rent to her and she owned a multi-unit rental in Connecticut. Knowing Elise Brysgel was a landlord herself I wondered ‘how bad could it possibly be’? Turns out it was pretty bad.

Once she moved in it was immediately obvious that I had made a terrible mistake. The piles of garbage were heaped around the unit and it looked like a homeless person lived there. Broken bikes, inflatable pools, a strange LED light palm tree that she made then abandoned and about a half a dozen broken mirrors were left scattered around the lawn.

Elise Brysgel was always late with the rent, when she was over a month late I went into the unit uninvited and the place was trashed. She called the cops on me and the police made it clear that I was not allowed into my own unit. I started the eviction process which dragged on for 5 months. At one point she tried getting a free eviction lawyer, who later abandoned her case. During the entire process I never received a penny for rent or electrical usage and she still owes me over $5200 which she has made no attempts to pay back.

Elise Brysgel owes me over $5200 in back rent but the crazy thing is about a month before she stopped paying rent Elise Brysgel sold her multiunit dwelling in Connecticut for $297,000 which can been seen here.

In retrospect renting to Elise J Brysgel was the worst mistake I have ever made. If I knew for a second that she would have not paid rent and trashed the place and ignored my every text and email message for months then I would never have rented to her.

If this post is still up, then she has not paid the judgement that is owed. I have tried at every opportunity to give her every chance to be in integrity and she has always chosen the bad path. I am glad to not have any more dealings with her and I look back at my experience with her as a very hard, very bad lesson that I will never forget.

Of course both Kamil Jez and Elise Brysgel had very nice cars, this is Kamil’s new Honda Civic.
